1.  How do I book a session?

Easy!  Just send me an email through the contact page or send a note directly to adrienne@adriennegillisphotography.com.  Let me know what type of session you are interested in booking ( family, senior, wedding, etc) and when you are interested in scheduling a time.  I will get back to you within 24 hours.

2. What should I wear?

I am a big believer in ensuring that photos reflect YOU!  So, first and foremost, make sure that you wear something that reflects your personal style.  With that said, it is important that you look and feel your best for your session.  When you book a session with me, you receive a FREE consultation to discuss clothing options.  Take advantage of this; wearing the right outfits make a big difference!

For families:  I prefer choosing a color scheme over matchy-matchy outfits

For seniors:  Consider getting your hair and/or makeup done for your session.  Professional styling adds a lot to your photos.  I can recommend amazing people that can help you with these things!

For newborns:  Babies photograph best either naked or in just a diaper.  If we are doing the session at your house, make sure that you keep the temperature warm so that your baby is comfortable and sleepy.3. What should I expect?

Each session lasts approximately 1-1 1/2 hours.  For a newborn session, plan on us being together for at least 2 hours.

3.  Where do you shoot?

I am an on-location photographer, so I come to you!  Newborn sessions are typically held at your house (or mine) and if the weather permits, all other sessions are usually shot outdoors.  I have several locations that I can suggest, but if you want to go somewhere that is special to your family or that you really love . . . Perfect!

4. What if my kids won’t cooperate?

PLEASE don’t worry about this.  I have four active children of my own, and I have photographed many kids that have given me a run for my money.  Trust me, I am patient.   The best thing that you can do, as a parent, is relax and have fun with your child.  The best pictures are candid; if we can capture you child actually enjoying him/her self, that is better than a “forced smile photo” any day!

5.  What can I expect after my session?

It takes approximately 2 weeks for me to process and edit your photos.  Within two weeks, you can expect to receive an email from me with a password to enter your private, online gallery.  Feel free to share this password with parents, grandparents, etc.  The gallery will remain active for 30 days, during which time you can download the high-resolution, digital files.
