Rose {Class of 2013}

Rose’s session was my very first 2013 senior session.  I am so excited to shoot seniors again!  I love capturing their beauty and personality through photos.

Emma

Emma is such a sweet, pretty girl.  I took her to Downtown Midland to have some fun.  It is still pretty chilly spring weather here in Michigan, but Emma was a trooper and acted like she didn’t care!

Lauren

Lauren and I go way back. Back to kindergarten, if you want to be exact. We been with each other through thick and thin and to this day, she is one of my dearest friends and most loved people. If only we lived closer to each other . . .

Xenia

We went back down to Canton a couple of weekends ago to say goodbye to some dear friends that were moving out of the country. While we were there, we stopped in for a VERY quick look at this precious little one. Luckily, I was able to snap a few shots of this sweet baby girl. Congratulations Dan and Mandy; she is absolutely beautiful!

Orange Groves

I love Arizona in the winter.  I am also mildly obsessed with the orange groves.  Perhaps it is because we don’t have them in Michigan.  Or, perhaps, it is because I always shoot such beautiful people in them!

Mandy

Mandy is due with baby #3 in just a couple short months.  After having 2 boys, she is FINALLY getting her little girl.  This little sweetheart is going to be spoiled for sure!  We spent some time indoors, shooting in my bedroom just days before I packed it up to move.  Then, a couple of days later, we braved the chilly weather for some outdoor shots.  Mandy was brave, I, an Arizona girl at heart, was a wuss.  We worked fast, though, and were able to capture this little girl before she makes her grand entrance.

Missing Fall Already

Fall has come and go, next on to surviving another winter.  I will always be an Arizona girl at heart.  These winters just about break me, but then Spring and Summer come along, and , fortunately, I forget about how miserable Winter was.  On to the pictures!  I love this family and will miss them dearly when we move next month.  I am still fascinated by how much fun I have at family sessions!

Thankful

The holidays are in full force around here!  I just love this time of year.  My goal for this year is to really try to scale back on all of the unimportant things and try to enjoy this wonderful season with my family.  Speaking of being thankful . . . I am very thankful to capture memories for beautiful families like this:

Head Over Heels

These two lovebirds have definitely got a “thing” for each other.  I can’t explain how much fun it is for me to capture emotion.  And capturing new love . . . oh that’s even better.  SO. MUCH. FUN.  Take a look:

The “S” Family

I met this cute family about a week ago at the Arb in Ann Arbor.  We were excited to shoot at such a beautiful place, but when we arrived, there was absolutely no available parking PLUS we realized that it was illegal to park in the lot at the time we arrived.  So . . . we had to be flexible.  We jumped in our cars and headed across the street to a small park.  When you are shooting an active 2 year-old, it doesn’t really matter where you shoot as long as there is plenty of spots to explore and roam.
